Whether you are totally new to climbing or looking to compete at National Competitions, there is a program to suit your needs. Our seasoned and knowledgeable coaching staff will help you achieve your goals.

JUNIOR TEAM
Head Coach: Kristina Bergdahl
What to know:

Season runs September through May
-
There are two groups, Junior 1 and Junior 2. Schedule is the only difference between the two. Trainings are twice a week for 1.5 hours

No competition participation required

It's our goal as the coaches to show you just how fun climbing is and the unique sense of achievement it provides. No experience is necessary!

TRAINING TEAM
Head Coach: Jilian Wereb
What to Know:

Trainings are two times per week for two hours

Competition participation is optional, but highly encouraged
-
Must show a clear love for climbing and have a willingness to learn not only technical climbing skills, but also how to work hard towards attaining goals.

TRAVEL TEAM
Head Coach: Jon Mavko
What to Know:

Season runs September through May with pre-season and post-season options.

Trainings are three times per week for two hours
-
Competition participation is mandatory
-
Must be self-motivated and ready for high level training to achieve competition related climbing goals

COMP TEAM
Head Coach: Jon Mavko
What to Know:

Season runs September through May with pre-season and post-season options.
-
Trainings are three times per week. Two sessions are 2.5 hours, one is 3.

Competition participation is mandatory, as is training outside of
scheduled practice. -
Must be self-motivated and ready for high level training to achieve competition related climbing goals, and preparing for National level competition.

REC TEAM
Head Coach: Kristina Bergdhal
What to Know:

Season runs September through May with pre-season and
post-season options. -
Trainings are two or three times per week for two hours, depending on commitment level.

No competition participation. Athletes train for outdoor climbing, there
are four outdoor days throughout the season. -
Must be self-motivated and ready for physical training as well technical
skill development for learning to climb outside safely.

MAPLE CANYON SUMMER CAMP
What to Know:
-
7 day long Summer Camp of focused Sport Climbing in Maple Canyon, UT
-
Dates vary year to year, but is always the end of May or early June
-
Must be a current member of the Travel or Comp Team and at least a Youth B competitor and have sufficient lead-climbing skills
-
Transportation, food and lodging is provided
